COX Instruments was purchased in September, 2006, by private investors, with many years of experience in the turbine flow meter industry. The majority of the investors are key officers and managers of the company, who are dedicated to supply the industry with timely deliveries and quality products. COX Instruments is now located in Scottsdale, Arizona, in the same building complex as Flow Dynamics Inc., a NVLAP^® accredited primary standard flow calibration laboratory.  

Today, COX flow meters are being manufactured in compliance to ISO 9001. The parts inventory has been fully restored and all the manufacturing processes are in place. A new order entry MRP data base system expedites the manufacturing process and enables us to deliver products within 4 weeks. COX Instruments also offers an expedited delivery of 2 weeks, or less, pending complexity of calibration.

Cox Instruments utilizes the services of Flow Dynamics, Inc. to perform all of the calibrations. Flow Dynamics has been in business since 1989 and has developed into a premier calibration facility, providing superior accuracies for both liquid and gas flow measurement. Flow Dynamics was the first independent flow laboratory to receive the prestigious NVLAP accreditation, offered by NIST. NVLAP is in full conformance with the standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), including, ISO/IEC 17025 and Guide 58, as well as, ANSI Z540. Flow Dynamics is also the leading supplier of precision primary standard flow calibration systems.
