Applications:
Engine Qualification Tests – Companies, such as GE,
Boeing, Airbus and Pratt & Whitney, have used COX flow meters to qualify their new engine designs, prior to installing on the aircraft. They depend on COX Instruments to provide accurate
fuel flow meter measurements which repeat and deliver trusted flow data.
Test Stands – COX flow meters are used widely in test stands that require precision and repeatable data. System configurations general consist of AN fittings, 440C stainless steel ball bearing, RF pickoff, flow straighteners, signal conditioner and/or flow computer. COX hydraulic flow meters have internal parts made of stainless steel, compatible with the fluids used in the aerospace industry.
Flight Applications – COX Instruments is specified on most of the US Government drawings for tactical ground support and flight applications. Critical flow data is measured with confidence using COX Instruments AN flow meters for flight testing.
