Series AN, Precision Turbine Flowmeter

Description:
Precision Turbine Flowmeter Series AN COX Series AN Precision Turbine Flowmeters have diverse applications in the areas of testing and control. These meters employ durable ceramic bearings, which are compatible in most fluids including cryogenic fluids. Six vane supports contribute to exceptional repeatability and linearity. COX Instruments' superior performance is credited to the axial helical rotor design, which enhances linearity, repeatability and speed-of-response, and reduces pressure drop. Series AN meters are calibrated on primary standards having an uncertainty of ±0.05% of reading.

Series 42, Precision Gas Turbine Flowmeter

Description:
Precision Turbine Flowmeter Series AN COX Series 42 Precision Gas Turbine Flowmeters are designed for accurate flow rate measurement of all compressible fluids with a minimum pressure loss. Series 42 meters have a guaranteed standard accuracy of ±1.0% of reading. Accuracies of ±0.5% are available depending on fluid conditions. The series comprises three basic designs for low, medium, and high-density gases. This permits accurate flow measurement under operating densities from 0.01 to 15 lbs/cu. ft. (at flow ranges from 0.4 to 400 acfm).

COX Series 42 LF Precision Low Flow Turbine Flowmeters are widely used for flow measurements in attitude and position control for rocket engines and other applications. Built for compatibility with exotic fuels and oxidizers, such as N204, UDMH, MMH, hydrazine, Freon, etc., the Series 42 LF meters are nonlinear, but are repeatable to ±0.25% of reading, allowing an overall accuracy of ±0.5%.

Series 44 M, Turbine Flowmeter Manifold System

Description:
COX Series 44 M, Turbine Flowmeter Manifold Systems are designed for applications where extremely wide rangeability, automatic operation, and high accuracy are required, such as in jet engine cells, fuel control stands and flow meter calibrating devices. With the Series 44 M, flow ranges of 100:1, 1000:1 or higher are available for high-pressure systems. The system consists of a stainless steel manifold with flow straightening sections, two or three turbine flow meters and one (or two in a three-element system) air-operated electrically controlled shutoff valve. Operation of the manifold system is automatic and fail-safe as normally open valves are used.

Description:
Panel mounted flow computer COX FC30 Flow Computer services both liquid and gas applications. The FC30 has features such as: batching, 40-point flow meter linearization tables, temperature viscosity correction, using Strouhal/Roshko advanced linearization methods and multiple flow and control inputs. Relay outputs are independently assignable for alarms and general purpose warnings. The FC30 has serial communications, both RS232 and 485, and isolated analog and pulse outputs.

Series 92 DA, Digital-to-Analog Converter

Description:
Digital to Analog Converter COX Series 92 DA, Digital-to-Analog Converters take the digital output of a pickoff and convert is to an analog signal output. The converter has a non-interacting zero and span adjustment to scale the output to match the operating flow range. Several configurable options allow for either magnetic or RF carrier input along with selectable outputs for 5 and 10 VDC, and for 20 and 50 mA. The converter fits into a "Y3" explosion proof enclosure.

Description:
Modulated Carrier Signal Conditioner COX Series 106-255, Modulated Carrier Signal Conditioners are designed to plug directly into the pickoff connector pins. Series 4010/4020 FC, Flow Computer

Description:
Flow ComputerCOX Series 4010/4020 FC, Flow Computers are panel-mount flow computers with a six-digit rate and total display. The unit stores and linearizes flow meter calibration data, making it an ideal solution for nonlinear LO FLO meters and extended range requirements. The flow computer stores up to 40 calibration data points with front panel entry or using COX QuickLoad Software.

The Series 4020 is the same as the Model 4010, but has the added feature for an RTD temperature probe. This provides fluid temperature compensation and Universal Viscosity Curve (UVC) capability, improving accuracy over varying temperature ranges.

Both units are housed in a NEMA 4 front bezel panel-mount configuration with keyboard entry. The flow computer features selectable engineering units, 485 programming port and data acquisition system interface.
